MAO

Mission Africa Orphanage (MAO) is christian community based non-profit organization that is dedicated to provide real hopes, dreams and plans for marginalized and disadvantaged children in Mosocho, Kisii central district, Kenya.
AIDS in Kisii,Kenya has increased the burdens of children organizations like MAO that help vulnerable children, orphans,abandoned,neglected,street children or from poor families.
Our Children's Homes has a challenge of keeping up with the growing numbers of these children from homes decimated by AIDS and street children from Kisii Town who have no place to call home.

 MAO currently supports just over 84 orphans in MAO Centre,Mosocho,Kenya.
MAO is affiliated with Truth International Missions Church , Mosocho,Kenya.

Mission and Purpose

The mission of MAO is to serve the needs of marginalized , abandoned and neglected children and to equip them with the skills, knowledge, opportunity and self-assertiveness required for them to live independently in society as opposed to poor children entering adulthood surviving on hand outs.
